DAVE KUTAYIAH

Senior Vice President, Head of Human Resources

 

Dave Kutayiah is a Senior Vice President and the Head of Human Resources at Clarion Partners, responsible for managing all human capital activities for the firm. This includes talent acquisition, management and development; compensation and benefits, and employee engagement activities. Dave joined Clarion Partners in 2008 and began working in the financial services industry in 1996 in various strategic human resources roles. He is a member of the firm's Operating Committee and an advisor to the internal Compensation Committee and Executive Board.

Senior Vice President, Head of Sustainability Task Force

 

Rick Schaupp, Senior Vice President, is the assistant portfolio manager for the Clarion Development Ventures II and III funds and Head of Sustainability at Clarion Partners.  In these roles, he shares portfolio management responsibilities for the Clarion Development Ventures series of funds, and leads the firm’s efforts in running Clarion Partners’ assets as efficiently as possible and in a sustainable manner. At Clarion Partners, Rick has participated in the acquisition, asset management, and development management of over $1.5 billion of real estate and the restructuring of over $150 million of securitized loans.  Under his guidance, the firm’s office portfolio has achieved an average Energy Star rating of 75 with over half of the portfolio achieving the Energy Star Label. In addition,13 assets have achieved LEED certification including two within Clarion Development Ventures. Rick joined Clarion Partners in 2005 and began working in the real estate industry in 1995.

NATHANIEL KIERNAN

Senior Vice President, General Counsel and Chief Compliance Officer

 

Nathaniel Kiernan is a Senior Vice President and the General Counsel and Chief Compliance Officer of Clarion Partners, responsible for managing all legal and regulatory matters for the firm. He is a member of the firm's Operating Committee. Nat joined Clarion Partners in 2007 and has practiced law since 1995 in the financial and government sectors.

Mr. Kiernan is a Commissioned Officer in the U.S. Army Reserve, and is a veteran of Operation Enduring Freedom.
