Investment OPTIONS
Investment strategies are available in commingled fund and separate account formats.
Commingled funds pool the capital of many investors to execute a defined investment strategy; they can be either open- or closed-end.
- Open-end funds have an infinite life; investors enter and exit at predetermined dates, typically quarterly. Clarion Partners has open-end fund options for both defined benefit and defined contribution plans.
- Closed-end funds have a finite life; investors enter the fund at inception, and capital is generally returned when the fund is liquidated at the end of its term.
A separate account is a dedicated portfolio managed for a single large investor. The portfolio's investment strategy and approach is determined based on the client’s real estate objectives, risk/return targets and property type, location and other preferences.
