NEW YORK (May 10, 2021) Clarion Partners LLC, a leading diversified real estate investment management firm, is pleased to welcome Reza Basharzad as a Managing Director and senior account executive within the Client Capital Management group.
In this role, Reza will be responsible for managing relationships with Clarion's existing clients throughout the western portion of the U.S. and developing new relationships with leading institutional real estate investors in the region. Based in Los Angeles, Reza reports to Evans Anderson, Head of Americas Distribution.
Reza brings over 17 years of diverse real estate experience to Clarion Partners. Most recently, he served as a senior director of real estate at Principal Real Estate Investors. Prior to that role, he was director of institutional capital alternatives at QIC and a senior vice president of capital raising, investor relations, and marketing at Paladin Realty Partners.
He is a graduate of The Marshall School of Business at Southern California State University and holds both an MBA and a bachelor's in business administration and finance from that program.
We are also pleased to announce that Managing Director Karen Kasteel will transition her focus from the western region to coverage of the northeastern U.S. along with select national client relationships.
